The Christian Group, with Keller Williams Realty is a team owned by Bernie and Terri Christian and was established at the Boat Club Rd. Keller Williams office in 2004. At that time they had only one additional agent on the team. Today, this group of real estate professionals consists of 5 agents, an administrative assistant and a runner. Terri Christian has a brokers license and is designated as a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS). Bernie joined her full time a real estate agent 5 years ago and they now combine their efforts to provide top notch service to buyers and sellers. With the other agents on the team, The Christian Group has a combined experience level of almost 40 years in the real estate profession. They consider themselves to be real estate consultants first, and believe they have something to contribute to the customer/client relationship through the selling, listing and buying process. They use leading edge web technologies to market their client's homes and conduct market research and employ proven business and marketing strategies to achieve the goals of their customers and clients. In addition, they offer offer Luxury Home Marketing (for customers with upscale homes in $500K plus exclusive markets), Buyer Representation, and much more. They have listed and sold homes from $20,000 up to $2.5 million luxury estates. The Group's focus and expertise is primarily on Eagle Mountain Lake, Lake Worth and Azle real estate markets where they sell luxury water front homes, lake houses, homes with water views as well as traditional residential real estate properties. Although The Christian Group listed and sold more waterfront properties in 2007 than any single or combined group of agents in Fort Worth, the largest portion of their business is actually derived from single family residential homes in Fort Worth, Tarrant and surrounding counties. The Christian Group has the distinction of being a market leader as it was the #1 real estate sales group in Keller Williams, Fort Worth with top volume and units sold since 2005.

Bernie & Terri Christian
Owners

Terri began selling real estate as a young associate in Desoto, Texas in the early 1980s. Eventually, she came to work with a major real estate firm in Fort Worth and obtained her brokers license while there. Several years later, she and her husband Bernie joined Keller Williams® Realty in Fort Worth and both have worked as a husband/wife team ever since.

Prior to earning his real estate license, Bernie was employed as an Airport Planner with the Federal Aviation Administration for over 16 years. After some planning and forethought, Bernie eventually left his government position to help Terri with the growing demands of their real estate business. Within their first year at Keller Williams® Realty, the Christians began to build a real estate sales group using principles adapted from the sales philosophies of Mr. Gary Keller, published author, owner and co-founder of Keller Williams® Realty Inc. After seeing that the Christians had established themselves as the top leaders in the Fort Worth market, other real estate agents expressed a desire to work on their team. As a result, they now have the top buyer’s agents in Fort Worth on their sales team.

Bernie and Terri have lived in NW Fort Worth Texas for many years. Their family enjoys traveling, entertaining, water sports, winter skiing/snowboarding and flying their 1954 E35 Beech Bonanza Airplane. They work hard and love to have fun. They have a 25-year-old son, Ryan, and a 23-year-old daughter, Shannon. Ryan is in the United States Army and recently returned to Germany from Iraq. Shannon graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton in 2009 and currently works for Nordstrom's.

For over 70 years, the Hooper name has been synonymous with Quality, Integrity, Honesty and Fairness in the Fort Worth area real estate market. The thing I enjoy most about real estate is helping others achieve their dream of home ownership.

My family settled along the Boat Club Road corridor in 1958. Northwest Fort Worth is a city within a city, and we enjoy the sense of a small town community. My siblings and I all attended Eagle Mountain Elementry, Wayside and Boswell High School.

In 1988, I married my middle school sweetheart, Dr. Mickey Hooper. She’s an OB/GYN for Texas Healthcare here in Fort Worth. We have one daughter, Katie.

Mickey and I are truly "lake people." It has been our shared childhood dream to live full time on the lake and have been fortunate enough to have owned properties on both Lake Worth and Eagle Mountain. We now enjoy living in Lake Country where I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Lake Country Property Owners Association.

Dana Sue Osburn was born and raised in Vinita, a small town in Oklahoma. She moved to Fort Worth in 2001 to continue her career with Cato, Corp. She was promoted several times with Cato, Corp. until she became a District Manager for over five of the company’s stores. Having met her goals there, she pursued a career in real estate and became a Keller Williams® agent. Soon after, Dana joined The Christian Group in the fall of 2005 as a buyer’s agent. Since that time, she has earned a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy agent, helping many people and their families find a home. In fact, she has closed 33 transactions resulting in over $3 million in sales since she joined the team less than two years ago.

In essence, Dana has devoted 20 years of her life to servicing clients through sales, with the last three years devoted to real estate. She enjoys the challenge and opportunity to help others find a home and live the “American Dream” of home ownership. Her charm and influence is well known among her fellow agents, coworkers and buyers. In August of 2007, she earned the Keller Williams® Tiger Award for her positive attitude and enthusiasm. Dana is flexible and enjoys learning. She loves people and has the ability to set them at ease and earn their trust. She is service oriented and treats all people with dignity and respect. Her motto is, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!”

Dana says that she enjoys “the good things in life” such as travel, shopping, family and her dogs, Jo Jo and Mercedes.

Sherri Thomas
Buyer's Agent

Sherri obtained her real estate license and began her career in real estate as a property manager and leasing agent in 2007, with Specialized Property Management Inc. She worked there for six months until she heard of an opportunity to work for the Christian Group, Keller Williams Realty. Last year, The Christian Group offered her a buyer agent position on their team and she has closed over 1 million in sales since January 2008. Also, she is a current member of the National Association of Property Managers. Sherri is friendly, outgoing and eager to please. She enjoys working with customers and clients and loves to help them reach their home buying goals!

Sherri, her husband John and their three children, Brooke, Allison and John, enjoy boating, bowling and traveling. They also like to spend time with their children at sporting events like soccer, baseball and football.

The Christian Group, Jerry Hayden, Realtor

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Jerry started with Independent Loyds Insurance Co in 1984 right out of high school. She worked her way up from file clerk to Personal Lines Underwriter. She was later employed by the Mid American Insurance Co in 1989-1994, started as Personal Lines Underwriter and worked her way up to Senior Underwriter. After that company dissolved she decided to make a career in real estate. In 1995, she started working as Administrative Assistant to Mary & Charles Rigby with RE/MAX Associates of Arlington, earned her real estate license in 1997 and then became their buyers agent. She later moved to Real Estate By Pat Gray and remained there for 5 years as a primary agent becoming knowledgeable of foreclosures and working with real estate investors. After a short time of working with Re/MAX again, she moved to Keller Williams Realty and is now a top buyer agent for The Christian Group.

She recently wed again a little over a year ago. She has a son, John who is 26, two stepsons, Colby 21 and Barret 25 and a precious grandbaby named Ava who is 2. She loves to garden, travel, cook and dance.
